• Grasp the forceps handles with a firm grip, ensuring control and stability.

Engage the Tooth:

• Insert the beaks of the forceps around the tooth, ensuring that the beaks are firmly engaged below the gum line.
• The pointed tips of the cow horn forceps may be positioned at the roots of the tooth for effective gripping.

Apply Controlled Pressure:

• Apply controlled, steady pressure to the forceps handles in a buccal-lingual direction.
• Rock the forceps back and forth to widen the tooth socket and facilitate extraction.

Monitor Resistance:

• Pay attention to the resistance felt during the extraction process. If there is excessive resistance, reassess the position of the forceps and make any necessary adjustments.

Complete Extraction:

• Once the tooth is sufficiently loosened, gently and steadily lift the tooth out of the socket using the forceps.
• Ensure the entire tooth and root structure are extracted.

Post-Extraction Care:
